We often love ourselves only when we are accepted by some external situation; when we are performing well at work, or socially; when we are feeling great health-wise.

What about when the frail house of cards comes crashing down? How do you feel about yourself then?

In the same way that one would hope not to leave a friend in the lurch when he goes down, a large part of the healing process is to send Love to yourself too, when the going is tougher. The pinnacle of which is a healthy self-acceptance regardless of your current life situation in that moment.

A large path to Healing therefore is the transition to loving yourself CONditionally to doing it UNconditionally. It is not an overnight thing but can support your Growth 🙂
