When you boil everything down, all there really ever is is your Experience of something. Something hits your net of Awareness akin to a fly hitting some part of the the web and the spider (you) is alerted in some way. Image

My experience with pain and discomfort over the years is such that I get to have practised what I preach — in fact the greater part of what I impart (if not all of it) is from direct experience of what has worked for me, and for many others. (After all when you want tennis lessons do you go to someone who just knows the theory or who is also a great player!)

This method works well to attain Peace and Healing in an otherwise embattled situation:

*When we are faced with pain or difficulty we tend to want to fight it, bemoan it or resist it. That does not solve it. It keeps it in the web.

*Instead what you can do is to turn and face it (that is, its impact or impression on you) and say “That is me”. In doing so it gets immediately accepted back into the Whole, which is what healing means in its truest sense.

*As you say “That is me” — knowing it must be part of you to have registered on you in some way — it has less of a ‘Pull’ on you. It can cause less chaos. In fact you bring it back into the Purity of your Essence, that part of you that is always stable, always strong, always at Peace, already Healed.

*”That is me”, brings the out-of-tune part of the orchestra back into step with the rest of the players!

Let me know how you get on!
