We know by now that a large part of what can sustain an ongoing condition like phobia, fear and anxiety is not wanting to FEEL them, as they are ‘icky’ and unpleasant, so they rumble on in the background (if not the foreground) untested, unabated.
What if we were to turn this problem on its head? Because the former position would appear to be the tail wagging the dog, would it not?
What if we were to try and feel MORE of the issue (and not less)?
As we do this something interesting happens: the issue loosens its steadfast grip on you and is released: at which point you can use the In-Breath to take it into the Heart.
A few goes on this will see it lessen and become truly manageable in no time.
